This is a photo of some of the trees in the arboretum outside the building. It is a peaceful place to be, where most of the time you can hear nothing except maybe birdsong.

- I'm an english girl currently living in the amazing french alps. I am trying to make the most of this fantastic opportunity, and am enjoying having a break from my old life for a while. I have been using my time here to reflect and to hopefully heal some of my health problems (I have Crohn's disease among several other conditions), and I'm attempting to tread an exciting path of self-discovery and hopefully some healing along the way. I have many interests/hobbies and at times struggle to find time for them all, but at the moment I'm taking a break from many of them and enjoying what my beautiful surroundings have to offer.
